"Tanabata" is also known as "Star Festival".
The kids wore their traditional Japanese dresses.
The kids sat down on the chairs and the program has begun.
The teacher read their parents wishes written on a piece of strip paper.

The teacher prepared a show about the origin of Star Festival.
It was a story of two lovers who were apart because of a curse.
The kids wished on the Stars so the lovers will be together again.
